Hey guys, check out my art project for the garage, all bottle caps.

I need some more dark blue before I can paint the board and start gluing (in also going to have to crimp a lot of cap edges to help fill gaps). Its not perfect yet I know, gotta make the G a lot less goofy and more. This was an initial lay out.

Yes, I’ve been collecting bottle caps for years.

You could give me the blue ones lol!

But you can cover coffee tables and bar tops with them and then lacquer over then or put plexiglass over them.

You can also make cool art like the above lol

The table thing is what we were thinking of doing with them actually. we just need to get less lazy and actually do it haha.

It’s a breeze if you’re not doing a design. The Ford Racing logo means I need specific colors and to really work the layout.

Lol, I knew someone would say something like that. Problem is I can only use red white and dark blue. I have hundreds and hundreds more caps that don’t fit this project

What's dark blue? Corona? I would figure those and Red (Bud, Coke) would be pretty easy to come by. I'd imagine the white would have been harder to come by.

Lots of stuff is dark blue, almost all Sam Adams, Miller Lite is (sometimes, they flip around which makes me insane), Third Shift (which I like but no one’s heard of), Corona is, that’s correct, Bud Light which I’ve had a lot of Bud Light donations of (I don’t drink bud light) is a lot of them though.

the reds are almost all Angry Orchard and New Belgium

The whites are mostly Atwater, clown shoes and some Bell’s, i think there might be a couple reverse color sam adams in there too

you should paint the wood behind the bottle caps so you dont see wood grain beneath the design.

I plan on painting it white before actually stickin’ on the caps. This was just for layout to see how many i had/if it was enough.

You should do a slightly undersized blue oval beneath the ford logo

No, under the blue bottle caps. As In; paint the material that the bleu bottle caps sit on top of blue

This is a good idea actually. I may want to do the same for the RACING with red
